Educational Qualification:
Staff Nurse -> Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing with 2 years experience in Health Centres of Govt./Semi Govt. Bodies./ Corporation/ Autonomous bodies/ Hospital of repute having atleast 50 beds. (OR) Diploma in General Nursing after 10+2 with 5 years experience in Health Centres of Govt./Semi Govt. Bodies/ Corporation/ Autonomous bodies/ Hospital of repute having atleast 50 beds. (OR) Diploma in General Nursing after Matriculation with 8 years experience in Health Centres of Govt./Semi Govt. Bodies/ Corporation/ Autonomous bodies/ Hospital of repute having atleast 50 beds. Job is residential in nature and stay on the campus is mandatory.
Multipurpose Health Worker -> Diploma in Multipurpose health worker after 10+2 with 3 years experience in Health Centres of Govt./Semi. Govt./ Bodies / Corporation / Autonomous Bodies / Hospital of repute having atleast 50 beds. (OR) Diploma in Multipurpose health worker after Matriculation with 5 years experience in Health Centres of Govt./Semi. Physiotherapist (Clinical) -> Master Degree in Physiotherapy atleast 50% marks. (OR) Bachelor degree in physiotherapy from a recognized Institute/ University with 55% marks.
Coaches -> Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with Diploma in Coaching from NIS in the respective game and participation in Inter-University/ Senior National/ Federation Cup tournament. (OR) BA with Post Graduate Diploma in Physical Education. Diploma in Coaching from NIS in the respective game and participation in Inter-University/Senior National/ Federation Cup tournament. (OR) MA in Physical Education/M.P.Ed with Diploma in Coaching from NIS in the respective game and participation in Inter-University/Senior National/ Federation Cup tournament. (OR) A Very outstanding sportsperson with Bachelor's degree in any discipline and having participated in Olympic Games or upto third position holder in World Cup/Commonwealth Games/Asian Games or Arjuna Award or Daronacharya award or Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award or having Coached and accompanied the Indian team as its coach in his/her game/ sport for international competition or having produced international players.
Clerk-Cum Junior Data Entry Operator -> BCA/ B.Sc(IT)/ B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. Economics or B.A/B.Sc. or any other examination equivalent thereto, with Computer Science as an elective subject, with atleast 50% marks. (OR) Graduate Degree with 50% marks and PGDCA from GNDU or equivalent thereto.
Accounts Clerks -> B.Com with 50% Marks. Basic Knowledge of Computer.
Junior Technicians -> B.Sc. (OR) Three years diploma in the relevant subject from a recognized institution.
Pump Driver -> Matric with Punjabi. Certificate Course from I.T.I. or any other recognized institution in the trade of Machinist/ Electrician / Wireman. Preferences will be given to the candidates holding diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Shall have to clear Trade Test and/or viva voce.
Foreman -> Matric with Punjabi. Three year diploma in Civil Engineering. Five Years practical experience in a Govt./ Semi Govt. Bodies/ University/ Board/ Autonomous body/Firm of repute. Shall have to clear Trade Test and /or viva voce.
Watch & Ward Supervisor -> Ex- Junior Commissioned Officer, not below the rank of a Subedar-Major or a retired Police Officer not below the rank of an Inspector. These qualifications may be relaxed to the rank of a Subedar for inservice candidates with atleast two years experience in the University.
Life Saver -> Must have passed atleast 10+2 from any of the recognized educational boards. Must have Participated in State / National level competitions in swimming. Must have minimum of two years experience in life saving.
Other Qualification: Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard is essential for all posts.
Application Fee: ₹ 400/- for SC / ST / PWD Category candidates; ₹ 800/- for all other categories (including General). The candidate should deposit the requisite application fee by presenting the bank challan printed after online registration to any branch of State Bank of Patiala on all bank working days (after one working day from date of Bank Slip Printing). After accepting the application fee, the Bank will return one copy of bank challan to the candidates as a token of receipt. The copy of challan will contain a journal number & date of transaction.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online through GNDU Website from 21/06/2016 to 05/07/2016. The Hard copy of online application form along with required documents should be addressed to the Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar-143005 (Punjab) on or before 18/07/2016.
